In this documentary, we can see how people, especially women, deal with menstruation in rural areas of India. We can understand the stigmas of menstruation and how it affects woman's lives in economic, social, political and religious aspects. This is one of the various examples of the nexus between gender, social justice and climate change, since climatic factors limit local rural women's access to sanitation, clean water and hygiene products, further worsening their health and socio-economic realities.
